3-wheel lithium electric forklift

Capacity: up to 2000 kg
Lift height: up to 6500 mm
Best for: tight aisles, goods handling in racks and small docks
Key checks: aisle width, turning radius, capacity at target rack height, floor flatness and tyre choice.

4-wheel lithium electric forklift

Capacity: up to 48000 kg
Lift height: up to 7000 mm
Best for: mixed indoor and outdoor work, higher lifts and heavier pallets
Key checks: loaded gradeability for ramps and yards, tyre type for different working surfaces and battery sizing for your shift schedule.

Selection guide to the right lithium electric forklift

Aisle width (Ast)

If your aisle width is shorter than 3.2 m, we recommend a 3-wheel lithium electric forklift.
If your aisle width is between 3.3 – 3.6 m, both will fit, while the 3-wheel lithium electric forklift is more flexible and the 4-wheel lithium electric forklift is more stable.
If your aisle width is larger than 3.7 m, we recommend a 4-wheel lithium electric forklift for higher loading capacity.
In the same loading capacity range, the turning radius of the 3-wheel model is usually 10 – 20% tighter than 4-wheel models.

Load at height

The residual at 5.5 to 6.5 m is about 80% of the ground rating for all lithium electric forklifts. If your frequently loading capacity is greater than 1.2t and the lifting height is higher than 5.5m, we recommend you choose the 4-wheel model.

Ramps and yard use

If your regular loaded slopes are greater than 12% and with rough surface conditions, we suggest you choose the 4-wheel models. For flat and smooth indoor floors with minimal slopes, the 3-wheel model is enough.

3.1–3.3 m aisles + 800–1,000 kg pallets + 4–5 m racking
→ Choose the 3-wheel for the smallest Ast and fastest turning.
3.4–3.6 m aisles + 1.2–1.5 t pallets + 5.5–6.5 m lifts
→ Choose 4-wheel for stronger residual capacity and stability at height.
More than 30% outdoor time + uneven surface + 10–12% ramps
→ Choose a 4-wheel with suitable tyres for stable travel and gradeability.
Pure indoor picking + tight aisles + frequent U-turns
→ Choose a 3-wheel for shorter turn time, faster movements.
